help, my skin's complete, but it says it's not.

i just made a classic skin, worked my butt off, submitted it, and received an email that it's NOT COMPLETE.

Now...I've skinned everything except the #*$% cursors.
This isn't the first time I've submitted a skin, and the others worked, so WHY is it incomplete if I really do have everything?????????????

is it because i have 2.8? Do I have to have 2.9?
what's the deal

Thanks for anyone who can help.

You have to skin for 5, I'm pretty sure.

You thought I was dead, didn't you?

Everything you need to know about skin submission at Winamp.com

Quote:
every skin should at least have the Main, Equalizer, Play List, Video and General windows skinned, The AVS and Minibrowser windows are no longer required, but include them non the less for legacy support
So to answer your orignal question, yes it is because skin submission requirements have been updated to WA 2.9x (WA5) standards.

The files you're missing are:

VIDEO.BMP
GEN.BMP
GENEX.BMP

Thanks alot

I hope that's the case. I downloaded the base skin like a billion years ago so i guess it's time to do it again, haha. But still, that's pretty frustrating. Oh well.

I'll be damned, that email thingy actually works.

If you really want the baseskin, this one is complete:
http://www.fusionamp.com/Nullsoft_Sk...inamp2_Classic

You can also get a skin called "Skinners Atlas", quite helpfull making skins.

Sorry... I made a mistake now reviewing your skin. I was dling two skins at the same time. Yours got downloaded first, and I went to review it. Two seconds later the other skin got downloaded, and opened itself. I wanted to change back to your skin (I was looking for bugs before in the main/eq/pl, and didn't see the other windows). I had already downloaded the version from this thread, and accidentaly switched to this version instead of the version I dl'd now. Without thinking I looked at the media library, and saw that the ML skin was missing, so I rejected it.

I'm really, really sorry about that.
