Gotta wonder how mant people know what this is, too. Funny how you can spend some of this stuff, and even though it was made less than 100 years ago, people never knew they existed. Gotta wonder how many people know what a kennedy 50 cent piece is, or an indian head cent.

Look again and see that's actually not Lincoln and thats not the Lincoln Memorial, it's actually a bathroom and a guy is on the throne.

I was sure that the spider thing was just a myth. . .

wtf... I dont understand how either of those look like spiders or owls. It's a small, ornamental blip, or it's the end of the leaf.

I've been told of the spider/owl for a while...I've looked at the $1 bill close enough, and saw something out of the ordinary from the "web" design around the borders, but it doesn't distinguish as any type of animal or bug to me...

Most people know that the change they spend was made in either Denver CO, or Philadelphia PA, denoted by either a "D" or a "P" (in some cases, no letter for Philly) on the coin. There are, however, other mints in the US that make (or in some cases, [i]used[i] to make) coins. The third most common is San Francisco CA, denoted by an "S". You can usually still find S-mint coins in your change, usually pre-1975 lincoln cents.
Some of the other mints are West Point NY (denoted by a "W"), New Orleans LA (Louisiana) (denoted by an "O"), Carson City NV (denoted by a "CC"), Charlotte NC (gold coins only, denoted by a "C"), Dahlonega GA (gold coins only, denoted by a "D") Other than the gold, I'll give examples of the other mints. The only mint coin I don't have (minus the gold) is a Carson City mint coin, so the photo is of a coin other than my own. I'll start with the two mints most of us know of, Philly and Denver: 2002 Indiana State Quarter, Philly mint 1968 Lincoln Cent, Philly mint (note the lack of a letter) ![]() 1959 Lincoln Cent, Denver mint And now the San Francisco mint 1969 Jefferson Nickel, San Francisco mint ![]() 1970 Lincoln Cent, San Francisco mint ![]() West Point mint 1996 Roosevelt Dime, West Pint mint (made ONLY in 1996, for mint sets only. Mintage: 1,457,000) New Orleans mint 1907 Barber Quarter Dollar, New Orleans mint ![]() Carson City mint 1880 Morgan Silver Dolar, Carson City mint

well, if you think about it, it could be considered a type of trap. In theory, the gov't can monitor everything you do on the internet, so in a way, your in their web. They, in theory, can know anything and everything about you.

He's hiding from someone...
I don't know if I have the permission to say who and blow all covers, though...
