Probly a newbie question but I looked

I followed the instructions in the first post about looking in the FAQs, searching the forums, etc for my problem. But neway, here's my nub question. For most of the skins, I have to save it. Where do I save it? Whereever I do, I still cant get winamp to open with that skin. But for the skins where I can just click and the d/l on their own, work. How do I get the ones where I have to save to work?

You can put the .wsz file or .wal file in the Winamp/Skins folder.
If the skin is in a folder, move that folder to Winamp/Skins.

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

Winamp.com skins should automatically download/install to the Winamp\Skins folder when you click on the download link. On other sites it may or may not work which may depend on if they set the MIME types correctly. Some sites especially "personal" may use the .ZIP extension on skin files. Most of the time you can just save the .ZIP skin file(s) to the skins folder with out having to change the extension name.

Are you saying that skins from Winamp.com are not automatically downloading/installing? What happens when you click on the download link? Which browser are you using?
