trouble with plugins under XP
I can't any of the slow down/pitch shift/tempo change plug ins to work at all. I've tried installing evryone they have available including chronotron (which does work with media player but not winamp), pacemaker tempo controller, and roni music slow me down. none of them have any effect with winamp. Am I missing an update for XP or something? PLEASE HELP!

yes I turned them on in the preferences but they are not taking effect at all. I had a machine that was running windows ME and the slow me down plug in worked just fine. I'm positive it has something to do with XP not allowing the plug ins to take effect or the plug ins do not work with XP.

Which formats are you trying to play (CD, MP3, MID, etc)?
Maybe the following DirectSound config tweaks... http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....26#post1212926 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=166479 Just to be on the sure side, close and restart Winamp after making any of the DirectSound changes. |
