Keyboard
Hi,
I have one of these fancy "Multimedia Keyboards". I was trying to make WinAmp to be my "Media" player. That was easy. Now I would like to have teh "Next/Previous/Stop/Play" buttons to work with Winamp. And here I am stuck. The keyboard I am using is the "Genius Comfy KB21E". The regkey is at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Chicony/KLP0210/Default/ The driver it starts with: c:\windows\mhotkey.exe Any idea?? Oh by the way. To make Winamp the Media Player of the keyboard, I changed the regkey from above: ../12/ Caption WinAmp Enabled 1 Function 2 LinkTo C:\Programme\Winamp3\Winamp3.exe Best |

Winamp3 is 2 years old and is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Winamp 5.03 plus update patch (or wait for the sooncoming 5.04) and go to: Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Global Hotkeys Checkmark "enabled" Click "set defaults" Your mm keys should now be automatically recognized. |
