Wow, great pics Cabo! I'm impressed!
The one thing that gets to me though is that: maybe it's your camera, or your graphics program, but something is just compressing the hell out of those pictures. When I'm working on something in photoshop, I usually save it as a .tiff file (no compression), and then when it's finally done I save another copy as a .jpg file (so I can upload it and not have it be huge) You should go on deviantart if your looking for a website or something. Crescent Moon /edit: Nevermind, it was just the fairyland picture that was really compressed. The rest aren't too bad.

I have to compress the shit out of them to beat the 100K limit. They 6M pixel images from a Canon Digital rebel.
I guess I really need to setup a site. Nice pic BTW!

One can see some of my photography at http://xzxzzx.com/fpics
When I'm not quite as lazy, I'll add the rest of my collection on there, and probably size the images down so they load faster. Freedom of speech is the basic freedom of humanity. Thanks, Pixelcraft. The border fits your picture very well. The yellow part of the flower looks interesting. Did you edit it?

Two pictures I took when giving our plants the juice of life yesterday. Left one's a rainbow I created with the water, right one shows the light that's coming through the tree's leafs reflect in the water. I'm not completely satisfied with those two shots, that's why I haven't framed them yet.

Sweet!
I just went through your DeviantArt gallery. I really like berries (probably because of the blue colour) and Interstellar Serpent. I never had any formal training in photography. I was wondering how they got the motion blur on the water when it was falling. I was going to try adjusting the exposure length, but in my mind I questioned if that would pull too much light in and ruin the exposure....
Anyways heres 3 more from when the NHL All Star game was in town and they had built an ice palace across the street from the Xcel Energy arena Suburbia: The place where they clear down trees and then name roads after them |

Really great shots, MonKeyRum! I really like Ice Castles 5 and 55. The NHL All Star game is coming here next season, but most likely it won't be cold enough for ice, let alone an ice castle. I would have loved to see that in person.
Have one on me... Mas tequila! |

Just discovered this thread... I had never ventured into Arts and Design before. Will start to more often now! Some of your pictures are really good, not the usual crap people put on the internet of their family in different poses blocking the view. I have a canon powershot S400, a compact point and shoot thing, but with quite a lot of manual control (pretty much everything except the aperture).
xzxzzx, I've seen lots of the stuff in your Denmark pics, the Elsinore castle ones are good. When I was there that day I watched some guys jump in the water and swim to Sweden. |

The expression on the girl sells the scene. I have yet to produce any what I call good photographs with the sepia or black and white filters. Suburbia: The place where they clear down trees and then name roads after them |

Here's one I took spontaneously on my way home from a party. I had always wanted to take a picture of this building at night, and I think it turned out allright.
