Sound Buffering Out

My husband listens to different internet mp3 radio broadcasts , No matter which one he listens to the sound buffers out and the broadcasts need to be restarted
how can i fix this and stop it from happening as its way aggrivating

Go to Prefs > Input > Nullsoft MPEG ... > Streaming and increase the Data buffer size. Try 256 or 512.

If you are on dial up them only try connecting to streams of 32kbps or less.

Post back if this doesn't fix, with an example stream address or two.

thank you I will try that i am on cable and i just set my buffer to 512 i will go to one of his broadcast sites and click on a few of the shows and then I'll post back and let you know if it worked
