I'm an Ogg newbie

Ok, I did a search for past topics relating to this, and unfortunately it seems like I'm the only one who cannot figure out how to get Winamp to play .ogg files. I am an OGG virgin, though I have been hearing about it for a few years.

I just got the complete discography of TMBG, and lo and behold, it's in ogg format. So I load it up, and I have no track times, like when there's a dead file. Now, this is 700+ megs of music, so I know there's gotta be something there.

And when I click to play a song, it crashes Winamp. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

first of all you need a recent version of winamp (full)

as old versions didn't have the ogg decoder. nor does the lite version of winamp.

other than that it should play out of the box like an mp3.
