Winamp 5 sluggish video

I just installed Winamp 5. I was told this was a kick-ass player, much better that WMP 9. I sort-of agree. And I would like to buy the Pro version. However, when I try to play video, the audio plays fine but video? Fuggetaboutit! All I get are still shots (rather like a slide show) that change every couple of minutes. Oh, and my processor is taxed at 100% the whole time it's running. My processor is between 90-100% using WMP9 also, but video runs smoothly (more or less). I am running Win 2000 Pro with a Celeron 1.2 gig proc and 768 megs RAM. What can I do? Thank you for your time.

Be sure you got the right codecs installed.

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.
