What errors are you getting when it is public? It's most likely the fault of firewall(s)/router.

192.168.x.x is a LAN IP. This means that only those on your network would be able to connect using that link.

Link using this format: http://yourIP:yourPORT/listen.pls

Replace "yourIP" with your IP (which you can find from the hosting machine here) and "yourPORT" with your portbase as defined by your DNAS (server) config file. The default is 8000.

It never WAS on air. There is still something wrong............. You needed to tick the "make this server public" to see the error.

You also need to quit doubleposting.

yeah, i'm back.

Right, and just by unticking it doesnt make the problem is solved, just makes it not show up, as I was unable to connect to your server BEFORE you shut it off.

yeah, i'm back.

It will continue to work only on your LAN unless you inform us of the error(s) you are getting when it is public and get those solved.

thing called router manual?????

most routers have a password - login name = admin
password is either nothing or 12345 or 1234

or you search for the router brand on internet and goto the page from the compagny that made the router. most router manuals are also online. and most have a faq section and online helpdesk.

you are giving up while there are still loads of things to check out!!!

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.
