ok so the source keeps disconecting and its driving me nuts, im running my stuff at 48kbs and i have 32 slots open, im running windows xp....my stre4am will work fine then it dc's

Are there some tools i can get to check my mp3's do you think that might be the problem??.......or are there any neat apps or programs that i can use for my station to make it run a lil smoother? And how do i change that station aim id.........i got aim now so wher do i change that i forget

try mp3gain to normalize your mp3's. AIM info is in your DSP output tab yellow pages button.

i went to that mp3gain site and it dont thing its working but just to clarify www.mp3gain.com.......download it whenever the site works properly, its not letting me access the content area

yes they are, i have no m3u playlists, i did however find a mpeg...but yes the rest are all mp3's

well if you source player is in constant play and is always playing mp3's then I would assume that it's a network problem.

Well i have been connected for 30 consecutive miutes now and no interuptions..............sadly its the longest ever...........to bad nobody is listening, sad really

so there can be no pauses in between tracks and stuff?

I'm not sure of the length, but eventually, if no bytes are sent, the DNAS will kick the source.

well thanks for the help everyone i am broadcasting at one hour and 30 mins strong once again thanks for the help all, ive kept the noise constant and no dc's. no listeners yet either but now that ive got this down hopefully ill get some tune-in's!
