General Keyboard Hot Key not working

Today I have had a problem with using the local hot key in winamp to open files. When I press 'L' now it does not work!? What should I do? I have tried everything from reinstalling winamp to uninstalling it and then reinstalling it! Nothing seems to work

Forget it! Sorted it.... it was Nvidia's Nview desktop manager that was turned on... for some reason it was preventing me from using that certain shortcut
