No Picture when playing AVI file

I am trying to play an AVI file and all I get is the audio and no video. I have version 5.03c. I am also using Windows 98 SE.

Have you tried other formats (MPG/MPEG, ASF, etc.), or another AVI?

I'm not a Winamp developer.

that occurs when you don't have the proper decoder for the video file.

if you download one of these codec packs you should have the corect decoder for most video file formats. (the full and mega)
