Only to get rid of the ugly ad in the upper right corner. Otherwise the free version of Opera is fully functional.
It's good to hear that Mozilla/Firefox has a banner ad blocking component. Opera has very thorough popup blocking, but no integrated ad blocking. That's another mark in Firefox's favor. Now, if it can only gain another 6 or 8 to equal Opera for my needs.
