Bug
ok heres my original post in teh thread egg killed. i thought it was understandable and straightforward but it semmed to be overlooked anyways so i will try to clarify....
________________________________________________________ p4 2.6ghz windows xp geforce fx 5600 winamp 5.04 i like to use my winamp windows all separately so i choose to uncheck the "dock windows at..." setting under[ preferences > skins > modern skins > general ] and it will work until i close and re-open winamp at which point the windwos start sticking together when i move them around again. when i return to the menu the box is still unchecked and to fix it i simply re-check it and then uncheck it again but i have to do this every time i open winamp so it gets to be quite a hassle... ___________________________________________________________ what i am saying here is that the option to NOT dock the windows is not working. the option must be reset every time you open winamp and its a god damned piss off! i dont want my fucking windows sticking to shit when im trying to position them! i dont know how to make it any simpler or more clear and it should be THAT easy to reproduce unless this is just some sort of anomaly created out of my own stupidity or some sort of divine being that doesnt take kindly to me.... now i know its not gonna be fixed until theres a dev team or whatever but id would be nice if they fixed this when there is one since it seems like it should be relatively easy to fix (though admittedly i know nothing of coding) |

Yeah, known (used to happen even with the 5.0 alphas/betas), reproduced, confirmed, etc :/
Not sure if/when it'll be fixed though, because (as you said) there's currently no devs left who know wasabi... brennan, francis, aus & mig are all gone (and even though wasabi was never their speciality, so are justin & christophe). Currently, the only workaround is to go into prefs and reset the option. Sorry :/ There's not even any way for me to report bugs at the moment, because the betalist is dead as well. My simple solution... stop closing winamp
