yet another ASPI error

When i try to play directly from a CD i get this error

ASPI error:0x4 (SRB completed with error)
Sense key:0x4 (Hardware error) Sense code:0x8
0x3 (Logical unit communication failure).
Any suggestions on this?

Playing CD Audio or MP3s on a CD?
If Audio:
Standard CD Plugin or CD Reader?

Install ASPI by downloading it here: http://www.adaptec.com/support/faqs/aspilayer.html

or if that doesn't install, use ForceASPI which can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/razo12_2000/cdr/frcASPI15.zip

Both are legal, but only use one one or the other, not both
