Is this possible? I have my tuntable plugged into my microphone input on the back of my computer. I tried to record using the sound recorder that came on my computer, but it only allowed me to record 60 sec., and only in wav. format. Can I use winamp or something else to record from the mic. input?
P.S. I am very poor, I can't afford to buy any new programs. I have a trial version of Totalrecorder, which is very nice, but again, I can only record like 60 sec. of music. |

you *could* do it with WinAMP, but its a lot of work. try a program like GoldWave www.goldwave.com, or search for sound recorders.

Don't know if this will help but you can record longer than 60 sec with default windows sound recorder. Record 60 sec of anything, even nothing. Save the file. Under Edit click insert file and insert the saved file into itself. This will double the size of the file. Keep doing this until you have a long enough file for what you want to record. Then you can record over the long file of nothing.
![]() P.S. I think if you make the file to long i.e. over about 2 hours pyou get an out of memory error |

Thanx y'allz. I appreciate the help. I actually ended up using program that my brother had on my mom's computer called "Mixman Studio Pro." It worked, I was just looking for an easier way, also now I have to find a way to get the file from her pc. to mine. Peace!
