I've just installed the Dudsoft Gapless plugin, as I'm sick of hearing gaps in between songs when playing a CD. Although it's reduced the gaps there's still some left.
What should I do? Remove/disable my other output plugins? |

No, leave your Output plug-ins as they are. Those that aren't selected are already disabled !
You only really need to use Dudsoft whilst listening to CD's. Use the WaveOut or DirectSound for everything else. To get rid of the gaps once & for all, download the CDReader Input plug-in and use that instead of the default one. You'll need to rename IN_CDDA.DLL to IN_CDDA.DLL.OLD [for backup purposes]. Read the documentation that comes with CDReader for full info. Now try the Dudsoft Gapless plug-in ! ------------------ ******* DJ - Egg ******* ^/^ `v |

The gap in between songs is now just a quick 1/4 second blip. Good enough for me!
Thanks! Graham |
