Skin help

yea i tryed downloading a few skins and every time i get a popup asking me to apply it i say yes but for some reason the skin changes to the Winamp classic skin can anyone help??

Do you have the full version of Winamp or just the "lite?"

It would be a help if you could let us know what skins you are downloading.

However, Still having problems? have you cleared your temp internet cache files lately?, are you running on XP/2k with a limited user account?

Have you tried saving the files directly to your hard drive?, right click on the download link, choose "save target as" save to skins folder, usually located at
c\program files\winamp\skins

Start winamp, press ALT+S to bring up the skin browser and select your skin from the list.

Failing that, try a different browser, there have been serveral reported screw ups with IE and downloading skins after people had upgraded to SP2, try something like Firefox for example.
