Umbrella License - Winamp Forums

I was reading a post entitled "A Licensing Alternative" http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....om+AND+Project and it seems that there was little interest in this concept. Why? Because it seems like a win/win situation for his organization "Music Freedom Project" and us broadcasters.. Am I missing something here???
