I listen to a wide variety of stuff but I don't give genres to it. Examples of stuff I've listened to today are:
The Streets Felix Da Housecat Staind The Clash Happy Mondays The Smashing Pumpkins And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead Nouvelle Vague Curve Fatboy Slim ...and some other stuff Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. -- Homer Simpson |

Interesting tidbit: When I was in college, one of my friends that like a certain band (don't remember which one) said that if they ever turned satanic, she'd stop listening to them. If she knew I was listening to SatanicBlack right now, she'd freak out. |

![]() I noticed that there actually are other bands than zep, like all the clapton-bands over the years (yardbirds, cream, blind faith etc), Rober Plant's solo works (Pictures at eleven, The principle of moments and dreamland are my favourites), general 70's rock like Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Wigwam, Ten Years After, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep. Softer "real" rhytm&blues and blues is something I've learned to understand trough zep. (I had a james brown-period this summer, his box set Star Time is a good thing to start with) And I've got some kind of impression of what modern music is like, my music collection is <5000 songs, I've ripped most of the CD's my family owns (take a look at a quite up to date list here) After the publishing of that list I've got some more INXS, PJ Harvey and Built To Spill. The next up on my about things i will take a look at is Rammstein, The Doors, Blues Brothers, Traffic and Maybe some early Metallica. I borrow lots of CD's from the libary and rip them to mp3 (using --alt-preset standard!!!). Actually I buy only three or four cd's every year. |

I mainly listen to Hard rock. More of the older stuff like The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. Also some not so old stuff like Guns N' Roses. I like a little heavy metal. Some of the older Metallica is pretty good
