Ares works really well now.

And Soulseek is better for rarer stuff.

In my opinion, anyone who gets viruses a basic virus scanner can't fix from P2P isn't paying any attention whatsoever to what they're doing. I've been into p2p since the early days, and have downloaded all kinds of files, but I have never gotten infected by a virus. They've always been caught before the file even finished downloading.
