Some players just can't cue or even pause a "live" audio or video stream -- that's technology that requires a very large buffer that most fast, "lite" players just don't bother to do.

For WinAMP, try increasing the streaming options for the MPEG Audio input plugin to create a very large buffer -- 128Mbytes may give you the result you want. Of course, your PC must have the [free] RAM to give WinAMP that much memory... but... you gotta pay to play.

Your bandwidth plays into that as well -- you have to be able to get well "behind" the live stream and still be able to read ahead to the limits of the stream bitrate -- If that makes no sense, don't worry -- iot just means that you may not be able to do what you want.

I just got RealPlayer 10 -- a NEW feature is the ability to pause/cue/review a live stream, so..... it may be coming to WinAMP soon.
