Just thought I'd try to close this topic...

I was behind a router (switch) with not port fowarding gui in the router...

I found a cool little port mapper at http://www.analogx.com (under networking software) free.

since the target computer was in my network neighborhood,
i just forwarded all requests to the name...never mind the router assigned ip.
