Wasn't Enya in Clannad back in the early days?, does she sound like her?
My only exposure to clannad was a couple of TV theme tunes they did back in the 80's over here, Robin of Sherwood and Harrys Game. Can't say I care for Enya however, too wishy washy for my taste. |

Enya is Moya's sister.
the music they made for Robin of Sherwood is the CD Legend. and Harry's game was a detective from the 70's. Moya's solo work isn't anything like Enya. more like Clanned |

Ahh, I see.
See, the stuff they do for TV themes, is great, and very well suited to the genre, incidental music, stuff that's not meant to distract your from what you are watching. That's good, but I couldn't listen to it as a full album , I had a mate who was mental on clannad, every time we went out in his car he would either wack one of theirs or Enya's CD in, used to drive me mad... |

I know what you mean Jones,
a few songs is good , but a full cd is too much. Enya and Kitaro are perfect if you want to fall asleep. never made it beyond 3 or 4 tracks when listening to a cd from Kitaro or Enya.

Perfect, Moya has a great voice and a good band behind her, with typical irish instruments.
this was the first concert in the Netherlands (still 6 to go in this little country) and you could see that they enjoyed playing. the encore was three songs. most concerts last 2x 45 minuts this one lastest a little longer first part one hour- 20 minuts break- second part one hour and 20 minuts. |
