After each video finishes i get buffer

My station after each video finishes start to buffer and i have to double click on the adress of the stream to start watching...Why is this happening and what to do to make my station works without intreruption sunch like this...

all files MUST HAVE IDENTICAL SETTINGS:
video width, heigth, framerate;
audio sample rate, channels nr,
and of cource same codecs

i have a similiar problem with audio/video streaming on shoutcast.

after a video stream, i will stream audio.

the video stream is available under: http://myip.com:8000/;stream.nsv

and the audio stream is available at:
http://myip.com:8000/listen.pls

how can i combine/join that on one big stream ?

There is no way I know off.

You could advice the users on the video stream to change to the audio stream and then turn it off.

Or, you can send a black picture, so it does not consume as much bandwith as a movie, but it still will consume more bandwith then the audio-only stream.

Basically, there is no way without forcing the user to restart (if you change the video to consume less bandwith by lowering the framerate) or switch the stream.

Wouldn't sending black get you banned?. Video streams are supposed to have video in them. Also, that would cause your bitrate to be probably below the minimum.

Wouldn't the legal way be to tell the YP server that you switched to audio?.

I just wanted to point out, that there is no care free way to join an audio and a video stream.

NSVcap is capable of generating text on streaming video.

You could also do a screen capture using camtasia - with a character generator.
