Okay, here is my problem. I know how to create a playlist, but I can't figure out how to edit the name of the song in the playlist. i.e. One song shows up in my playlist as "magica~1" But the song is Magic Carpet Ride, and this is what I want it to say in my playlist. I've tried hitting 'ctrl + E' and it will change the name in my list, but then it won't play the song. Can you tell me how to do this?

Right click on the song in the playlist and select file info. (or press alt + 3)

This will bring up the file info box. you can then change the song title and artist.

If you want to change the actual filename of the mp3, you'll need to use Windows Explorer. Find the file e.g. c:\mp3\magica~1.mp3 and right click it and selct rename from the list.

In Windows Explorer right click on the file and select properties. Make sure Tead-Only is UNchecked then hit OK.
