I must be blind, but I cant find it ...

I've looked ALL over the place, and I cannot seem to find anything that will help me find out how to start editting a skin. I know I'm missing something, but can someone help me to make the agonizing frustration come to an end?

Where is the "Click here to download the program to help you get started on editting your winamp skin" button?

Let's say your skin is called "harahelusi skin". Then make a folder on your winamp skins directory called "harahelusi skin". This will probably look something like C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\Harahelusi skin. Put all the necesssary files (BMPs, TXTs, etc.) in there.

Then, you will see your skin in the winamp skin chooser (hit alt-s).

If you make changes on the BMPs in your paint program, you can see what they look like on winamp by making winamp the active program and pressing F5 (F5 reloads the current skin)

Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.

All my skins: @ winamp.com @ 1K1WS @ Deviantart.com
