Bose's leaping Lexus.
I read a small article in the latest issue of Motor Trend, and I tried to find the link on MT's website, but had no luck. I found more about it on the official Bose website, though.
http://www.bose.com/ => Learning Center => Bose Suspension System It's a new type of automotive suspension system developed by Bose Laboratories. I found it quite intriguing, and pretty cool that they made a 2-ton Lexus jump over a 2x6 wood plank placed vertically on the road in front of it. Spiffy. ![]() Sorry for not linking directly to it, but Bose's site uses sessionid's and crap. |

If this car drives as good as their speakers sound you can count me the fuck out!

Here's the article from MT on Bose's active suspension...

Oh man, I really don't want to get into an argument about Bose's sound quality. The main reason: There is no reasoning with a person who thinks that Bose makes anything other than overpriced plastic toys. Im serious here, take a look at what the speaker industry thinks of Bose. Go to an Home audio forum and search for Bose. You might say, "Well, I like how they sound and that is all that matters." If this is your opinion, you are disgracing the musical artists you listen to every time you play them on a Bose system. Check out these links:

I didn't say anything about the actual quality of the speaker's sound. I just said that I like them. I prefer my speakers over lots of other, more expensive speaker sets I've listened to. What's the big deal? I'm sorry you don't like Bose, but that's your opinion, and I respect that. But don't go telling me that I "disgrace musical artists" just because I listen to them on a set of Bose speakers.
At any rate, their suspension system has nothing to do with my speakers. Personally, I think it's quite innovative. |

I wouldn't buy a car with their suspension without doing a double-blind test first.
