Why hasn't anyone thought of this yet?
So I just had a great idea hit me, tell me what you guys think.
"The Optimist" An all news-all day cable channel that only reports nonpartisan Positive events that happen in our world, or puts a positive spin on stories the rest of the media makes out like is gonna be the end of the world. Do you think it'd have a big enough niche? You know, like when you read or see a story on a couple networks and think, gosh, there has to be another side? It would be facinating for a week, but after that the poor bastards running it would run out of material unless they started being sarcastic.

No one is interested enough in good things. Bad things mean you "have" to watch, so you're "informed". Really, the media simply plays off of the fear of it's watchers.
