the NYT would never withdrawl from the net because google was using some aggregator to construct news stories, they'd just put their content behind a secure connection.

the whole idea that a computer program can read a bunch of related news stories and then combine them into one story that would turn out to be easily readable, coherent, and not massively repeating itself is rather far fetched IMHO.

I do believe however, that bloggers will continue to give the MSM a run for their money. Look what happened to Dan Rather.
