a gmail question

Does anyone know when gmail become non-beta, all the gmail beta users accounts will close nor reset?

BTW: Seems that gmail close my account , does anyone got a little invt. for thise little wolf

it is still beta now because that addition to the name makes it so that, google can do/change whatever they want at any time with no prior notice.. they could pull it all right down now and wouldnt have to tell us or give us any warning. because its only a beta project, not a public project.

They could do that anyway, most mail service providers write in a 'without prior notification' clause into their T&C, standard business practice.

Adding the beta tag simply gives them a easy get out route when their sloppy coding throws up some wierd issue for a user....

"hey gmail lost all my messages and sent me a virus that wiped my hard drive"
"Well, hey it's only a beta product, you gotta expect a few hicups along the way, we mentioned as such in the T&C when you signed up!"
