2 Firefox Questions

I have two quick questions. I think that these can both be done via extensions.

1. Is there an extension that will load a PDF in the same window the way Adobe Acrobat reader does?

2. Is there an extension or some setting that will enable me to retake the bottom status bar when some website goes full screen and I can't see it anymore?

For the latter...

Tools > Options > Web Features > Advanced

Uncheck the "hide status bar" option.

How do you have websites making your browser full screen?
Have you disabled the pop-up blocker?

Not fullscreen like in IE, but it just goes on top of the bottom status bar. It almost looks as if the status bar has gone behind the panel. I'm on linux, btw.

While we're here . . . can someone advise me what the default value is for cache disk space?

I messed around with it, screwed it up and don't remember what default is and I want to return it to default.

Tools> Options> Privacy> Cache> .. Use up to[????]KB of disk space for the cache.

If you have broadband, you might want to jack it up to 100000, Just for that "extra" padding.

I never had a problem with that in Gnome 2.7 when I used Gentoo. It happened occasionally in Windows though.

Acrobat installs for Firefox. Goto Acrobat.com and download their oversize bloat and install it for Firefox.

Its General Discussion Anything Goes. "You wanna talk about something, but don't know where to turn? Chat your heart out here..." Or should we all discuss our favorite winamp main window feature? I like play the best with shuffle as a close second.

I can't believe some people just don't think when they type on a computer and they don't notice how retarded their messages look after they've hit enter.
