problem

Ok i will try to explain this better...On my site http://www.realdeejay.com I put the link http://(MYIPHERE):8000/listen.pl...now when i click it i get a gateway time out...im not sure how to get it so it connects online and let's people listen...when i connect i put localhost, port as 8000 and password as my password..it all connects fine but when i click on the link on my website i get a gateway timeout instead of it launching in realplayer/winamp...any help?

not untill you can give a more decent post of your problem, like i told you before ,we can not do much with what you wrote down.

i'm not getting any log errors:S i told you...i put the link on my site, go to my site and look and click the listen live button writin on the index...i get a gateway time out error...how come it wont connect when you click it on my site? it does when i open to mix live...i duno wut u dont understand

your listen part on your page is still under construction so no way of telling if it works or isn't working at all.

should have given me your shoutcast status page but it gives me nothing ( page cannot be..)
if that is not there it also explains why you can't listen.

tried your link in wmp and it tells me that either there are problems with my player or the server is not there.
I'll bet on the last option. sorry

but when i connect on my shoutcast it says connected and its transfering my songs...but when i go to my site i jus get a blank page when connected..

how do you connect? you are using the link on your own site?

check your ip number at www.whatismyip.com and see if it has changed . are you on dsl? could well be that your ip number is changing.

i connect by opening up winamp then connecting...then i close winamp, open up atomixmp3, click on a .dll plugin and connect...my ip number is correct...i have my internet connect to my dads computer

router problem!

you should open ports 8000 and 8001 in the router config.
see manual or the website from the router brand and model.

your broadcast never leaves the network you are on.
