First get yuor IP here:

http://www.whatismyip.com/

This is about 95% accurate (as sometimes networks and such can throw off false information). Try that first and see what happens and realistically you need a friend or someone on an outside connection to test it for best results. If they cant get in you likely have a port forwarding or firewall issue stopping it.

Thing is I tried this IP too (because its not mentioned in my router configuration page) but it still doesn't work. Secondly, I also went to another IP finder page but I get different ones (either +1...or totally different that don't work either...hence the confusion :P

It sounds like you do not have a static IP address from your ISP which is why it is changing.

You will also need to update your firewall setting on your DSL router/ Modem for Port translations. You will need to add an entry for every request to port 8000 or one you make up, needs to be redirected to your internal IP address on port 8000

Hope this helps

if you're talking about port forwarding..then I've already done that. I really have no idea what to do. My router has a dynamic dns update client...so i registered with no-ip.com and my IP should be updated...but STILL can't get access. Try for yourselves: http://aboodz.no-ip.com:8000/listen.pls

HELP
