Playing XMI Files with Winamp

Hello,

A while ago I wanted to figure out how to play XMI sound files, but couldn't find anything. I downloaded Winamp and messed around with it for hours and finally figured out how to do it, and then Winamp was able to play them.

Now months later, I have forgotten how to do it and can't seem to get it working again, can anyone tell me what options I need to do for Winamp to be able tor ecognize and play XMI sound files?

Thanks

1. Winamp > Ctrl+P
2. Plug-ins > Input
3. double click 'Nullsoft MIDI player'
4. File Types tab > highlight/select XMI from the list.
5. click 'OK' button to close out of MIDI options
6. General Preferences > Filetypes
7. make sure XMI is highlighted/selected
8. close out of prefs
9. close and restart Winamp
