winamp errors out on me

sup guyz..well i'll just cut right to the point my winamp works perfectly fine when i'm playing songs and stuff but when i try to open a video file it errors out on me and gives me this error

AppName: winamp.exe AppVer: 5.0.0.8 ModName: out_ds.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00003162

winamp has been working perfectly fine for me for the past years and i've gotten this error recently..i've tried uninstalling the direct sound output v2.2.10 and it started to work but then after doing so..Steam stops working properly..lol yeah well any help would be greatly appreciated
