OGG files not playing

Some of my OGG files are not working - anyone else had this problem?

If those OGG files were encoded with ID3 tags, they are corrupted. Make sure not to encode with ID3 tags. Try Tag and Tag frontend to strip ID3 tags from OGG files.

Otherwise, as requested in the thread "Sticky: Troubleshooters; Common Issues; Clean Install Instructions; READ THIS FIRST!!!", please post system specs.

Thanks for that - I tried and still no luck - I also tried to convert them to be told that the files are copyright protected - which is weird because they are loops and stuff a DJ mate makes - I've asked him to redo them into MP3 - he is a real "gotta be open source" man.

Sorry for not posting the system specs - I was curious to see if first of all anyone else had a prob - then I would have started a compare.

Fixed the prob anyway - DELETE 35 FILES OK? YES!

Since when is Vorbis copy-protectable?
