Well techincally you do get charged for watching. If you are on dial-up you must pay for the time you were connected to the internet whilst watching. If you are on broadband (Cable or whatever) it is less of a problem because you would be paying for that time anyway.

yes, winamp automatically bills your credit card $2.50 a minute, unless you bought pro, in which case its free.

You'll most likely get charged if it's kiddie porn.

Just checked winamp TV, seeing as I haven't really tried it out before. Watched Penn and Teller disprove alternative medicines. Cool.

I just don't see a reason for Winamp TV. What's wrong with just turning on your TV set?

Not everyone has a TV. TV costs money. You can see TV from different parts of the world. If you don't have cable/satellite TV Winamp TV has way more channels.

I did check out internet TV once, but it definitely did not resemble regular TV in terms of programming or channels.

As for the cost of TV, are you referring to the cost of cable/satellite, or the cost of a TV set?

And, how do you know that kgmex doesn't already have a TV?

Maybe that's the reason some people like Internet TV and others like regular TV...

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

I don't, but you said you didn't see a reason for Winamp TV altogether, not just for him. I do know someone who has a computer but not a TV.

The cost could refer to buying a TV although really I meant cable/satellite, or some countries in Europe and maybe elsewhere, you have to pay a TV tax if you own a TV which helps pay for national broadcasting and stuff.

I kinda like Enterprise...if it's not a rerun.

Fortunately, our local UPN station repeats Friday's eps. on Saturdays so it won't conflict with SG-1.
