transferring music????

Im using winamp to transfer music to my I pod.Question when i transfer from my playlist to my Ipod a box comes up adding my songs,but it say its also deleting a certain amount of sonds.Why is it deleting some songs??

The deleted songs are songs that have been removed from your library or songs that have had the artist, album or title fields updated. The updated songs are removed and then recopied to the ipod to update the ipod db.

The forum drewbar points to is the place where questions about the ipod plugin usually go.
