Artists Break With Industry on File Sharing

A prominent group of musicians and artists, breaking with colleagues and the major entertainment studios, is urging the Supreme Court not to hold online file-sharing services responsible for the acts of users who illegally trade songs, movies and software.

But yeah I did hear about Jason Mraz through downloading. Almost cared enough to get some of his stuff, but he was too lame.

The computer chip maker Intel goes pro P2P file sharing.

Intel joined some of the nation's most influential computer scientists and intellectual property experts Tuesday to urge the U.S. Supreme Court to protect Internet file-sharing lest technological innovation be stifled.
