ripping dvd audio...
ok so i've bought a music dvd that i figured would be nice on my ipod, i've been trying to think of an easy way to rip the audio to mp3 and i figured maybe winamp was the way to go - i already have the out Lame codec so basically i just need a way to play the dvd audio in winamp. i have downloaded a few dvd player codec, all of which seems to have bugs, but the most annoying thing is when i set up the output to Lame, it only captures 10 seconds of the first vob and then gives up.
don't supppose anyone has any advice of ideas i could try? thanks for reading - any comments would be most appreciated! michaeldc |

Your best bet might be to use a program like Sound Forge, Cool Edit or Audacity (or Goldwave, Wavelab, etc) to capture the audio during dvd playback. If using SF or CE save to .wav & use EAC or Razorlame to compress the wav to mp3.
