Ghost Files on Shuffle

First off, thanks for such a wonderful plug-in, let me add my name to the vast masses of folks who dispise iTunes.

Using 1.12:
I am having an issue with transfering songs onto my shuffle. When I load Winamp, I am able transfer the first three songs onto my shuffle with no problem. After that it still appears that I can transfer songs, and they appear in Winamp as if they had transferred, but if I check on the Shuffle, there are no new songs that appear after the original three.

In order to get more songs onto the Shuffle I am forced to shut down Winamp and start it back up again. I also have to remove the ghost files from Winamp or else it thinks that it already has the file and it won't sync.

If I try to drag more than three files onto the Shuffle, three seemingly random files are chosen to be copied and the rest do not make it.

The ghost files actually play in Winamp which leads me to believe that Winamp is reading the shortcut (pointer) instead of the physical mp3 file. This would explain why the file is not on the Shuffle but still plays in Winamp.

Any suggestions?

Thanks again

I had the same problem, all of the files need to be named and tagged properly.

Use this program to easily fix it:
http://www.softdepia.com/tag_rename_download_1291.html

Every song I tagged and named through that goes on fine.
