.APE subforum?
I noticed that there is more and more activity around .ape's..
I know I'm not a .APE programmer but wouldn't it be useful to create a .APE subforum? Jesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever |

The forums are quiet enough as it is, we dont need another subforum, both AVS and AVS Troubleshooting are fine for APE topics http://PAK-9.deviantart.com ...innit |

What about a stickied thread, where people can post their new ape's together with a short description?! That would be enough for that purpose..

It's not for listing APE's but for helping each other with developing them.
Sure, a list could be implemented, which is actually a great idea (there is an ancient list somewhere already). Jesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever |

We had this before.
No one makes enough APEs or cares enough to want a forum. Look at how much the AVS forum gets visited as a % of the whole winamp forums, then consider how much an APE forum would be visited as a % of that. It would get bursts of 3-4 posts about once every six months from APE developers with genuine stuff and the rest would be crap like 'put me in your APE' or whatever... There are about 4 of us I think... maybe a couple more I forgot... I just really don't think it would be worth it. |
