i'm working on the same problem right now.

i want to try this method:

every time, a user clicks on a song, artist or album, the small nowplaying-page below the items is updating.
so i have just to wait until the nowplaying-view wants to update and then retieve the filename(s) of the selected items.

i can detect the nowplaying-update-event, but i don't know how to get the filenames.

i'll try to use the enqueue-button for that, like shaneh mentioned before.

if i get any progress on that, i'll post here...
