Hi,

I'm trying to create a skin and would like to make the text which displays the song name with a transparent background so that I do not need to have an ugly coloured bar across my image. Is this possible?

Secondly is it possible to put an image in the background of the Playlist as you can with the main window and equaliser window. Again this would probably require text with a transparent background for best effect.

Any suggestions on how to achieve these type of effects would be greatly appreciated. Or just to confirm that they can't be achieved in Winamp skins

Thanks

James

Confirmed.
The Playlist is resizeable, so there can't be one big picture in the backround. The other transparency is impossible, too. Use a matching colour for the text backround.
All possible transparencies are set in region.txt, check the nsdn: http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/winamp2x/...s/config.jhtml
You might also use 'fake' transparencies for buttons, just copy a part of the backround on that button.

sorry James...
