hi, i've been having trouble getting skins to show up on my Win Amp. I'll download them and go to the skin directory and try and set it and stuff, but nothing will show up. Can someone help me figure it out?

What version of Winamp are you using? And are the skins you have in .zip or .wsz format? Winamp didn't support the .wsz format until version 2.24, so if your Winamp is older than that you might want to upgrade. Also are you downloading the skins into your Winamp\Skins folder?

Hey....yeah....you might want to upgrade because when ever i download a new skin it automatically loads up the new skin and puts in my C:/ProgramFiles/Winamp/Skins. So i would jus ttry to upgrade it.

This is for anyone searching for help if they're having trouble seeing or using downloaded skins. I was having the same problem with WinAmp 2.5 Lite, and here's what I did. I used Windows Explorer to go to the folder where I had downloaded the skins. Then I double-clicked on one, and the window came up that asks what program you want to use to open it. I selected WinAmp just to see what would happen, and wouldn't you know a .zip file was created with the same name, and suddenly my WinAmp had a new skin... and even better, I could see them in the Skins prefs window! I hope this helps anyone else out there who's as confounded as I was.
