bleeping sounds

my real one player can play all radios just fine. listening to japan-a-radio right now as a matter of fact.
so i passed on the site to someone else, though she uses the same program as me, she can hearm usic but has annoying bleep sounds along with it.
its completely normal on other mp3's, just on radio stations from shoutcast she seems to receive the bleeping sounds.

is there a way to fix this ??

Bleeping sounds? I don't know what you mean by "bleeping" sounds.

Could it possibly be stops/breaks or pauses as the radio broadcast streams?
If so, then have her try to increase the buffer size...

Doubtful it's the sound drivers else it would happen with local MP3's as well as broadcasts. In any event, still have her try what I referenced, It can't hurt either to update the sound drivers too.

But I still don't know what you mean by "bleeps". I can't hear what you are hearing, the description is vague, and you can't "post" the sound you are trying to describe here either. Does this happen with ALL radio broadcasts? Or can you provide a link or two to a broadcast URL where this happens? It could be generating from the broadcast source.

Are you trying to tell me that you are not using Winamp to listen to streams, but that you are both using RealOne Player? And you are posting here in the Winamp Tech Support forum for help?

We don't offer support for Real garbage player here. All my suggestions were re: the far superior Winamp media player (as was JonnyMac's link to DJ Egg's post).

Go to the Real Player support forums (if they exist) for help, and not here.

hmmmmm is right, JM.

@ kemespottes...

Either look to the Real Player support people for help or have your friend download and install Winamp 5.08e Full and then have her listen to streams. If at that time she experiences any problems, then (and only then) come on back here to the Winamp Tech Support forum for help.
