Sending commands to Winamp through another program

Hello,

I'm not exactly a programmer (I made a VB timer once ), but I recently got a copy of Multimedia Builder ( www.mediachance.com ). I want to make a simple program that adds Winamp control buttons to the title bars of programs...what I need to know is, is there a way of sending system commands to winamp? Like ShowWinamp() or Play() etc
