How long does it take to review a skin?

Hi skinners,

how long did u wait last time u published a skin? I w8ed 7 days now ... is this normal? Or did i make something wrong?
Newbie question: There are many strange things in my preview image. How do i get the white lines and the other crap out of the preview picture?

Sorry Jayn but it isn't online yet ... still w8in until someone reviews it, but i have e-mailed u the skin. Has anyone any coment about how i get the white lines out?

Thats a groovy looking skin u have there, could you mail me a copy at all?, can have a look at the white line prob you are having.

As for length of time for review, I've got 3 in the queue, one dating back to 25th of October, so don't hold your breath

Ion, I like it , Dont forget to skin the AVS window, and your title bar easter egg is missing as well, other than that, good looking skin, why do other people takes on these types of skins look better than the ones I start, and never finish LOL

Thx - Mr Jones. Yes i forgot the AVs and the easter eggs.
Cause i don't wanted to work any longer on the skin. The new Winamp 3.0 will not work together with the old .wsz so i thought i publish the mario2000 now, instead of publishing it never.

Id do the AVS and easter egg anyhow, there are 40million WA2.x users out there, and im sure they are not all gonna change to WA3 overnight.

Besides there are more places u can sumbit this great skin to, check out 1001winampskins.com you get a fast posting and its better than waiting on here for ever more.

I have posted the skin allready at other sites cause the long waiting time on the winamp site sucks. But u are right maybe i should make the missing things for the mario2000' things,but if the skin gets reviewed in 3 weeks noone will be intressted in the old winamp 2.x skins anymore ... anyone will say:"Wow Winamp3.0, wow where can i download new skins for that crazy player, wow!" and noone will ever look again on the hard work of the wa2.x skinner comunity - trust me. But i will finish avs and eggs someday ...

The only thing I can think to try on your screenshot to make it look a bit better is try saving your screenshots as .png files instead of .jpg or .gif files. The .png format is almost totally lossless and doesn't do weird things to your pics.

Thx - Jayn. But i thought the image will be generated automatic when i submit the skin. If i could make the screenshot by myself, then (trust me ) it wouldn't look like that *ARG*. What r ur last skins Jayn and Mr Jones? Mr Jones ... or can i call u Henry or maybe Indy?

I'm sorry Ion...I thought you were talking about taking screenshots.....for the preview pics here at Winamp.com, there is nothing you can do to make it look any better...we all hafta suffer with the .jpg format they have chosen for our skin pics.
